Helpful hints

Prescription refills:

  • Please call 3 days in advance for a refill. We try to complete requests the same day, but it is challenging, especially on Fridays and Saturdays.

  • If your child has a long standing prescription for a chronic issue, for example, oral medications for acne, allergy, asthma, depression, or ADD/ADHD, we require that they be seen in our offices at 3 months, 6 months, or yearly depending on the medication.

  • Refills cannot be filled without an appropriate follow up visit.

Scheduling Well Child Visits:

  • The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), recommends the following schedule:

  • Please schedule your well child visits at least a month in advance. This will allow more availability to see your provider of choice at times that work best with your schedule.

  • When scheduling appointments please give our staff as much information as possible, by doing so our staff is then able to schedule the appropriate amount of time your child needs.

Scheduling Camp, Sports, and School Physicals:

Please schedule your child's summer physicals as soon as possible.

  • Sports Physicals for Middle and High School aged children:

    • For most schools, if your child has had a physical within the last 2 years, our providers are able to sign these forms for you. You do not need another physical.

    • If your child has a completed MSHSL sports form, please note that it is valid for 3 years from the date of your child's last physical.

    • When dropping off MSHSL sports forms, please have your portion of the form complete and indicate how you would like the form returned (Mail, fax, or pick up)

    • Please allow 7 days for the forms to be completed by EVP.

  • Most camps require a physical to have been completed in the last year.

  • Please be aware that requirements can be different depending on the activity, camp, or school. Your child may need a physical before forms can be completed.

Scheduling Illness Visits:

  • Same day appointments are always available for acute illnesses.

  • We offer Saturday morning and evening appointments, Monday - Thursday.

  • Walk in strept testing is available for children who are 4 years and older who haven't had strept within the last 30 days (no appointment necessary) during office hours. This is a lab appointment only. If you would like to see a provider, please call to schedule an appointment.
