The staff at Eagan Valley Pediatrics is committed to providing families with the expertise necessary to help children grow and develop into healthy adults. We are a small practice dedicated to providing personalized care.

What is Pediatric Primary Care?

Pediatricians provide regular and preventative medical care for their patients. They treat generally healthy patients that come in for management of illnesses, injuries, or long-term non-severe conditions. The primary care provider is the first point of contact for most patients. We see patients from birth to age 21.

One of the most important duties of a pediatric primary care provider is to exam, diagnose, and make referrals to specialists as the patient's condition indicates. In these cases, the primary care provider is also responsible for managing the overall care of the patient and communicating with the specialists as needed.

New Patients Welcome!

The staff at Eagan Valley Pediatrics invites new families to arrange a complimentary meeting with one of our providers! We welcome all new families. Our providers see newborns who have been delivered at a variety of local hospitals.

We believe that children should be immunized. In an effort to protect our patients and the community, we are no longer accepting new families that choose not to immunize their children.

"We've followed Dr DuFort prior to his opening Eagan Valley Pediatrics. We have 5 children, and would not even consider any of them seeing another Dr. He has a very caring and professional staff. Even his referrals are chosen for the best of care. Thank you for the many years of care and for the few yet to come."

"Dr. Jim AND CPNPs are wonderful! They take the time to properly diagnose children. They are always up on the latest research. Highly regarded clinic by hosp staff we frequent. Specialists speak highly of the doctoring and empathy that is delivered by the team.

They have always gone above and beyond for our family. Even if I don't see the same practitioner for the same illness the staff is so well informed and trained that the continuity of care is exceptional. No worries going here. Bring your complicated cases, special needs and the typical childhood needs here as you will be treated well."

"I cannot imagine taking my children any where else. Eagan Valley Peds has the the best medical staff in the area they do not stop until the know what is wrong with your child. You feel like family when you are there not just another number like at other practices. Choosing Eagan Valley Peds is the right choice. I know it was for my three children!!"

"Dr. Dufort is wonderful with children and has helped with many questions we have had regarding our 18 month old son."

"I have been going there for a year now, and they are just fabulous!!! We see Anna, Dr. dufort and they are just awesome! I would tell everyone to go here!"

"Highly recommend! Every visit we are welcomed by a friendly staff and a clean and inviting waiting room. Dr. Dufort, the nurse practitioners and nurses all go above and beyond to ensure that every patient is comfortable, happy, and properly cared for. It is evident that everyone on the team cares! Every experience I've had with this clinic has been wonderful."

"The Dr and the staff have been amazing. Not only for the care of my children, but for the interests and well being of their mother as well. They continue to go above and beyond for their patients. They order in special shots for my child that they don't have to do for any other patient. I have found them to be kind and generous with their time and attention. I would highly recommend this clinic."
